Pre ACT Testing
November, 10th Graders
The PreACT is a comprehensive assessment designed to improve the secondary and post-secondary planning and preparation of students and to enable schools to assist students and their family in this important process. It includes an Interest Inventory which will generate suggestions for college and career choices and snapshot for families to see where a student might score on the ACT.
The PreACT measures academic development in four key areas: English, mathematics, reading and science reasoning. These four tests are complementary in content to those of the ACT assessment.
- English – 30 minutes
- Mathematics – 45 minutes
- Reading – 30 minutes
- Science Reasoning – 30 minutes

Practice ACT
November, 11th graders
Practice ACT, not an actual scored exam, is given to all 11th grade students in November. This test is given as an opportunity for students to practice taking the national standardized exam. If they have not taken an ACT exam yet, students will leave with a better understanding of the format and time-frame for each section or content area.
