A message from Coach Wagner:

Welcome to Farmington High School Boys Soccer


Registration for fall sports will open Tuesday, August 11.  

Please register as soon as registration opens and make sure you are cleared with a physical on file to ensure you can participate in tryouts starting Monday, August 17.

This information is to the best of our knowledge at this time as of Thursday, August 6 at 5:00pm.  We are still waiting for more detailed information from the state soccer advisory board.  Be aware that there could be changes based on their recommendations.

There will be a MANDATORY pre-tryout meeting with MANDATORY Face Mask and Social Distancing for all players and at least one parent on Sunday, August 16 from 7:00-8:00 in the stadium on the West side (home side) to hear about the tryout process, to buy black and white game socks and to join the booster club by paying a membership fee.  A proposed booster club fundraiser that all players and families will be expected to participate in with information about when the fundraiser will take place during the season will also be presented as well as the process for electing board members after teams are formed.  Everyone in attendance will need to be documented for potential tracing.

There will be a MANDATORY team and individual picture night To Be Determinedat the Farmington High School Stadium for all players and at least one parent to elect booster club board members that will represent each respective team within the program. 

Captains will be running pre-tryout practice sessions Tuesdays and Thursdays through August 13 on the Dodge grass fields from 10:00-11:30 each week.

Tryouts will look like this:

Bring your own:             We want to reduce sharing of equipment as much as possible!

  • water bottle (s)
  • white AND black tee shirts
  • soccer ball that is pumped up
  • cleats and shin pads
  • own sunscreen


  • August 17 and 18 from 9am-11am all players on the grass fields nearest Flagstaff.  
  • Players will be notified on or before Wednesday which team their initial placement will be on.  
  • Player movement between teams can be very fluid through the first couple weeks and throughout the season.

Practices/Games will look like this in the beginning of the season:

  • Starting Wednesday, August 19 practices will be from 3:30-5:00 on non-game days throughout the season.
  • As of right now in a draft from MSHSL we won't be playing games for all teams until Thursday, August 27 and Saturday, August 29.  We will be limited to 250 attendees for home and away games that will need to be documented and submitted before the games for potential tracing.
